The Leeds Historical Society is selling a variety of items that make great gifts at this time of year.

Poinsettias:
The Leeds Historical Society sells poinsettias during the  Christmas holidays.

More Than a Cookbook
: The society has reprinted a limited number of copies of its bestselling cookbook. Cost: $20. To purchase a cookbook, call Loretta Veasey at 699-8253. Cookbooks are also available for sale at the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library.



Bass House Ornaments: These hand-painted ornaments featuring the Bass House make great stocking stuffers. Cost: $23 for an ornament and $5 for a matching ornament stand. To order an ornament, call Loretta Veasey at 699-8253. Ornaments are also available at the Christmas Shop in downtown Leeds.

Oral History CDs:
The society’s oral history CDs tell the stories of Leeds past through the eyes of its citizens. CDs in this collection include "Now Becomes Then," "Ken Farmer: Prisoner of War" and The '07 - '09 Green Wave Champs." To purchase CDs, call 529-6400. The CDs are also available for sale at the Christmas Shop in downtown Leeds.
